History

At the beginning of the 20th century, several settlements in the Bukhtarma Territory were founded from immigrants from the Samara and Simbirsk Regions. One of these villages was Beryozovka, the first mention of which dates back to 1909. In 1912, Berezovka, together with the villages of Chirkain and Ust-Narym, formed the Mikhailovo-Romanovsky volost of the Zmeinogorsk district of the Tomsk province. In 1921, Berezovka was renamed Sredigornoye, the Sredigornensky Village Council was created, and an elementary school was opened. The population of the village at that time exceeded 1300 people. In the 1930s, the school was transformed into a seven-year school, and later became a secondary school.

In 1927, an oil factory was launched in the village. A little later, two water mills were built on the Berezovka River.

During the years of collectivization, the collective farm “New Life” was created, later renamed the collective farm named after I.V. Stalin. A post office, a first-aid post, a kindergarten and a nursery were opened. Tractors and cars appeared on the collective farm.

After the war, the Sredigornensky state farm was organized, which is to this day the leading enterprise in the village under the name Sredigornensky LLP. Since the 1960s, Diaglev Pyotr Fedorovich has been managing the household.
