Jeffrey Diver (born May 6, 1950 , Glen-Ellen , USA ) is an American writer , journalist , lawyer and folk musician . The author of books in the genres of thriller , mysterious and a crime detective . His novels appeared on bestseller lists around the world, including the Carte Blanche novel about James Bond [2] [3] , including The New York Times, 4 The Times , Corriere della Sera , Sydney Morning Herald and The Los Angeles Times .

Biography

He was born on May 6, 1950 in Glen-Ellen .

Received a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri and a bachelor of law from the University of Fordham ; originally worked as a journalist. He later practiced law before making a successful career as a writer.

Literary activity

Diver received the greatest fame thanks to a series of novels about detectives Lincoln Rime (suffering from tetraparesis ) and Amelia Sachs. In a 2006 interview with The Early Show in Deaver said he is alternating his new series with novels about Lincoln Rhyme.

In 2001, Deaver released the book The Blue Nowhere, which tells of black hackers (one uses social engineering to commit murder) and information technology crime fighters. Here we are talking about the inventor of the triode Lee de Forest .

She is a guest editor of The Best American Mystery Stories 2009 .

Diver also created heroes and, in collaboration with 14 other writers, the serial thriller Chopin 's Manuscript "Consisting of 17 parts. Between September 25 and November 13, 2007, it was read by Alfred Molina on Audible .
