Service
Nobleman; father - college assessor Vasily Yentaltsev, who had served from "merchant children"; mother - Varvara Grigoryevna Chereshnikova, daughter of a major general, cavalier of the Order of St. George IV class Grigory Chereshnikov. He was brought up in St. Petersburg in the Meyer boarding house (1798-1800). He joined the service in 1801 as a junker in the 2nd artillery field battalion. In 1806-1807 he participated in campaigns against the French . In 1812, Entaltsev, in the rank of lieutenant, distinguished himself in the battle of Smolensk , for which he received the rank of headquarters captain . For the difference in the battle near the village of Red, he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree with a bow. From 06.17.1817 - captain, from 15.09.1819 (for distinction in service) - lieutenant colonel , from 25.01.1823 - commander of the 27th horse-artillery company.

Member of the Union of Welfare (1820 or 1821) and the Southern Society . Delivered to St. Petersburg from Tulchin on January 20, 1826, imprisoned in the Peter and Paul Fortress in No. 4 of the Kronverksky Curtain. He was found guilty of knowing that he was intent on regicide ( Pestel reported), belonged to a secret society with knowledge of the purpose and knew about preparations for rebellion. Convicted of the 7th category to hard labor for 2 years, on February 7, 1827 he was sent from the Peter and Paul Fortress to Siberia .

He served penal servitude in the Chita prison (1827–1828) where in May 1827 his wife, Alexandra Vasilievna (1790–1858 [1] ) arrived. He lived in a settlement in Beryozov, Tobolsk province , then - in Yalutorovsk - at the request of his sister, Ekaterina Vasilyevna Sixtel. In Yalutorovsk, the Entaltsevs bought for 1300 rubles a large house in the college adviser Shenshin. Andrei Entaltsev became interested in medicine . He acquired special literature, he himself prepared drugs, spending considerable funds on the purchase of necessary drugs. He applied for permission to join him as a private in the Separate Caucasian Corps , but his request was rejected. In Yalutorovsk, Entaltsev repeatedly became the victim of denunciations, the result of which was a mental illness, for the treatment of which it was allowed to temporarily transfer him to Tobolsk (05.26.1842); in September 1842, the mentally ill Entaltsev and his wife returned to Yalutorovsk, where he died. He was buried in the old cemetery of Yalutorovsk. Entaltsev’s grave is under state protection.
