Born in 1898. By nationality - Russian.

World War I - The Great War

In the Russian Imperial Army he served in the Life-Dragoon Regiment.

Civil War

Nikulin began his service in the regiment of the Red Cossacks half-hundred.

In June-August, the 1st Dnieper detachment of the RSFSR (to mask the Ukrainian unit was then called the 1st regiment of the Red Cossacks), detachment commander V.M. Primakov, was in Pochep. Here he was replenished with personnel, trained, armed. During this period, people came to the detachment, who became the faithful support of the young commander, his active assistants. These were comrades S. A. Turovsky, M. O. Zyuk, I. E. Nikulin, K. M. Nalivko and many others. The detachment consisted of: 1st Horse Hundred, 2nd Horse Hundred, machine gun team (8 Maxim machine guns and 12 Lewis machine guns), artillery battery (two guns), self-propelled unit (100 car-bicycles). The 1st Chervona Regiment became a strong military unit capable of solving serious combat missions.

July 18 - November 1, 1919 served in the 1st cavalry brigade of the Red Cossacks .

November 1, 1919 - May 6, 1922 served in the 8th cavalry division of the Red Cossacks .

On May 6, 1922, the 8th Cavalry Division of the Red Cossacks was named the 1st Cavalry Zaporizhzhya of the Red Cossacks Red Banner Division named after the French Communist Party.

Since the fall of 1922, the commander of the 1st regiment of the 1st brigade of the 1st Zaporizhzhya cd of the 1st cavalry corps.

On November 15, 1932, Ivan Efimovich Nikulin was appointed commander of the 1st Cavalry Zaporozhye Red Cossack Cossacks of the Red Banner Division named after the French Communist Party .

On November 26, 1935, by order of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR No. 2394, Nikulin was awarded the rank of brigade commander.

Since 1936, he became an inspector of the cavalry of the Special Red Banner Far Eastern Army [1] .

Arrested on June 13, 1937.

September 8, 1937 the verdict of the Military College of the Supreme Court of the USSR - capital punishment.

Rehabilitated on August 29, 1957
