Biography
Born June 14, 1970 in South Ossetia in an Ossetian family. In 1983 he began to engage in freestyle wrestling . In 1988 he became the owner of the World Cup among youth in St. John's . In 1990 he became the champion of the USSR among youth. In 1992, at the CIS Championship in Moscow, he became a silver medalist and in the same year he moved to Ukraine , where he played for the national team of this country. In 1993, he won the silver medal at the World Championships in Toronto and the European Championships in Istanbul . In 1994 became the champion of Europe in Rome . In 1995 he became the second at the European Championships in Friborg . In 1996, he became a bronze medalist at the European Championships in Budapest , and also participated in the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta and took 7th place. In 2000, he took part in the Sydney Summer Olympics , but took only 18th place.
