Biography

Milyausha Galeevna Murtazina [2] was born in 1926 in the village of Bakai, Kushnarenkovsky district of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. After graduation, she worked in the tool shop of the Ufa Aggregate Production Association. At the factory, she participated in the work of a concert crew, which included a pianist, violinist, reader, guitarist and songwriters. With concerts, she went to hospitals and military units. After the war, she was admitted to the Aviation Institute in Ufa without examinations. As a student, she went to study at the Ural Conservatory.

In 1950 she graduated from the national studio at the Ural Conservatory (class A. V. Novikov), in 1954 - Kazan Conservatory (class. A. G. Tsvetkova). Since that year, along with performing activities, she took up pedagogy at the Ufa College of Arts .

Since 1973 she taught at the Ufa Institute of Arts (since 1980 the head of the department of solo singing, since 1990 a professor).

M. G. Murtazina is the permanent chairman of the jury of vocal republican competitions, such as Duslyk Mono, Debut, and the G. Almukhametov Competition; member of the jury of the XV and XVI International Glinka Vocal Competition; North Caucasian vocal competition; Italy International Vocal Competition (Sicily-Alcamo).

Son, Murtazin, Vladislav Lvovich , musician, organist, People's Artist of Belarus. Daughter, Leila Shagieva, musicologist.

Her pupils won 52 laureate places in international, all-Russian, zonal and republican vocal competitions.

Rewards

Certificates of honor of the Ministry of Culture of the USSR, the RSFSR and Bashkortostan. In 1967, Murtazina was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the BASSR." In 1970 she was awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor". In 1973, she was awarded the honorary title “Honored Worker of Culture of the RSFSR”, in 1983 “Honored Worker of Arts of the RSFSR”.

In 1987, she was awarded the honorary badge of the USSR Ministry of Higher Education “For Excellent Success” and was awarded the Veteran of Labor medal (1983), and was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In May 2004, Milyausha Galievna Murtazina was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of Ufa”. In May 2012, she was awarded the State Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", II degree [6]
