Study and work

He graduated from high school number 6 in 1966 with a gold medal. He graduated from the Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute in 1971 with a degree in Information and Measurement Technology. He worked in the institute in 1971-2001 as an engineer, a junior researcher , a graduate student , defended his thesis (ahead of schedule in 1975) with a degree in Information and Measurement Systems in the Oil Industry on the theme “Development and research of an information and measurement system for determining energy characteristics and rationing of random processes ”(11/05/16, Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute). Assistant (1975), Senior Lecturer ( 1976 ), Associate Professor of the Department of Higher Mathematics (1980). In 1988, he defended his doctoral dissertation in the specialty "Information-measuring systems in industry" on the topic "Development of methods and means of measuring the dynamic characteristics of mechanical systems" (marked with chipboard, 05.11.16, Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute). Professor, Department of Higher Mathematics (1990), Head of the Department of Information Technology (1991-2001), Dean of the Department of Automation and Information Technology (1990-1995), Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute . Since 2001, he has been a professor at the Computer Networks department, and from 2004 to the present, he has been a professor at the Mathematical Methods in Economics department of Samara State Aerospace University . In 1994-1996, he was the Deputy Head of the Administration of the Samara Region for industrial policy, informatization and communications. In 1993-1994 and 1996-2007, he was the head of several telecommunication and financial companies. . Under his leadership, 9 candidates of technical, physical, mathematical and economic sciences defended themselves. In 2005 he defended his doctoral dissertation on the subject “Econometric modeling and forecasting of series of dynamics based on parametric autoregressive models” (08.00.11., Russian State Academician named after G.V. Plekhanov, Moscow ). From April 2007 to the present, rector of the Samara Municipal Institute of Management (since 2009 - the Samara Academy of State and Municipal Administration ) .

He has more than 350 scientific and methodological works, including abroad, in the journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences, more than 70 inventions, 11 monographs (2 of them are winners of the All-Russian contest “The Best Scientific Book of 2005 and 2012”). Corresponding member of the International Academy of Engineering , academician of the Metrological Academy and academician of the Academy of Quality Problems. He conducted research on the strategic plan for the development of the municipality, which is reflected in the monograph and in articles (including abroad).
