Included in the Staroselsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 was the center of the Nozemsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of administrative and territorial division - the center of the Nozemsky Village Council.
The distance to the district center of Shuisky on the highway is 27 km, to the center of the municipality of Stary by the straight - 3 km. The nearest settlements are Artemyevo , Lyskovo , Ostretsovo , Kosovo , Bukino .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 349 people (175 men, 174 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (96%) [3] .
