Biography
He graduated from the law faculty of the University of Parana , while still a student he began to publish poetry and prose. From 1946 to 1948 he published the Joaquim magazine, the mouthpiece of the second wave of Brazilian modernism (the so-called 1945 generation ); Mario de Andrade , Vinicius de Morais , Carlos Drummond de Andrade were published here; translations of Proust , Joyce , Kafka , Andre Gide and others were published.
Creativity
One of the best novelists in Brazilian literature. Most of the works take place in his hometown.
