Kragujevac University ( Serb. University at Kragujevcu ) is one of the universities in Serbia , located in the city of Kragujevac . It was founded on May 21, 1976 .

Currently, the University of Kragujevac has become a modern educational and research center, covering almost all the largest fields of education and science. It includes 11 faculties with more than 14,000 students and about 1,000 teachers. University faculties are located in five cities of Central Serbia, in which about two and a half million people live.
