Balut is a volcano located on the island of the same name , near the island of Mindanao in the province of South Davao , the Philippines . Another name for the volcano is Sanguil or Sarangani .

Balut - stratovolcano , 862 meters high. If you count the height of the volcano from sea level, then the volcano will have a mark of 1800 meters. Historical eruptions not recorded. In 1641, it was reported about the eruption of a volcano to the south of the island of Mindanao, which covered the darkness. Many thought it was the eruption of the volcano Balut, but later it turned out that it turned out to be an eruption of the volcano Parker , located 80 kilometers north-west of the volcano Balut.
Hot springs are located on the western and south-western slopes.
