History
The group appeared in Zagreb and initially consisted of four people: Zok, Tedi, Suba and Mile. The group began to play under the influence of such groups as Ramones , Sex Pistols , Dead Kennedys , Motorhead , AC / DC , Judas Priest , Metallica , Zabranjeno pušenje , Serbian Electric Orgasms , The Rolling Stones , The Beatles , Otis Redding . In 1987, Stipe joined the team.
On May 21, 1988, the band played their first concert in Kumrovec . In the same year, an unsuccessful performance took place on Lake Jarun in Zagreb.
In 1989, Stipe left the band. Then the first demo was recorded. A week later, Mile and Zok were called up for military service at JNA . Returning in 1990 , they began rehearsing and recording new demos again. Subsequently, these records were published on cassettes.
After Hladno pivo concerts in the Zagreb Video Theater and in the concert hall of the Technical University, the group became known to the general public. At the same time, at Mile’s house, a video clip for the song “Buba švabe” (a remake of Toy Dolls - “Spiders in the Dressing Room”) was shot for 200 DM. This clip was shown as part of the hit TV show “Hit Depot” in April 1992 , which allowed the young team to break through to the television screen. In the same year, A. Dragaš and T. Šunjić invited the group to record for TRIP records. The result was the TRIP zone music collection , in which Hladno pivo was presented with two songs. On December 17, 1992, in Ljubljana (Slovenia), the group played the opening act for KUD Idijoti . In addition, the group appeared at the Tivoli festival with Nelle Karailic and his team Zabranjeno Pušenje . In the same year in November, the group released their first album - Džinovski - at the Best Music studio.
