Biography
John Cornyn III ( John Cornyn III ) was born in Houston , Texas , February 2, 1952 [3] , in the family of US Air Force Colonel John Cornyn II and Atholene Gale Danley ) [4] .
In 1973, John Cornin graduated from San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts ( BA ) from journalism . In 1977, he also earned a JD ( Juris Doctor ) degree Law School of in San Antonio , and in 1995 a master 's degree in law ( LL.M. ) from the University of Virginia Law School [3] .
In 1984-1990, John Cornin worked as a district judge for Bejar County (in San Antonio ). In 1990, he was elected a member - in this position he worked from 1990 to 1997 [3] . In 1998, John Cornin won the election of the [5] , and took office on January 13, 1999.
In 2002, Cornin won the election of the US Senator from Texas . Officially, his work as a US Senator began on December 2, 2002. In 2008, Kornin was re-elected for a second, and in 2014, for a third 6-year term, whose powers expire on January 3, 2021 [3] .
John Cornin is married to Sandy Hansen, they have two daughters.
