Foundation and Development

The Mother of God-Tabynsky Monastery [1] was originally a men's monastery, which was founded in the village of Krasnousolsky of the Gafuriysky district of Belarus in the 17th century on the site of the appearance of the “Tabynskaya” (Kazan) icon of the Mother of God. In the 17th century, the monastery was burned down and, by 1998, restored and reopened.

The place where the icon of the Mother of God of Tabynsk appeared on the river Usolka in the village of Krasnousolsky was very revered. On November 7, 1992, near the monastery above the place of appearance [2] of the Icon of the Mother of God of Tabynsk, a temple was laid, also belonging to the monastery. The chapel built earlier on this site was blown up in 1972. By 1997, the temple was built [3] , in 2003 it was consecrated in Nikon, the archbishop of Ufa and Sterlitamak.

The monastery is located near the holy sources, near the resort Krasnousolsky [4] [5] with mud treatment [6] .

In the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God of Tabynsk there are two lists with the wonder-working image of the Tabynsk Icon of the Mother of God .
