Counter-Strike Online 2 is a computer game , a sequel to Counter-Strike Online , developed by Nexon, under the control of Valve Corporation . The game was announced in Tokyo in April 2012. [1] This happened after the game Counter-Strike Online (released in 2007), reached its peak in popularity in Asia. The second part of this game, Valve decided to create together with Nexon. Counter-Strike Online 2 is a fully online-focused, new version of the CS game powered by the Source Engine . The first trailer for this game was posted on YouTube on July 17, 2012. It is reported that the game Counter-Strike Online 2 will be distributed by Nexon in South Korea, Japan, China and other Asian countries. The right to distribute Counter-Strike Online 2, like Counter-Strike Online, in Europe belongs to Valve Corporation . In turn, in China alone, the total number of players in the first part of CS Online is now more than 500,000.

2012
The game was announced in Tokyo in April 2012. The first trailer was also posted in 2012, but in July. It is planned that the game will be on the Source Engine . The game is being developed at this time. The approximate release date for Counter-Strike: Online 2 was August 2, 2013.
2013
In June, Valve and Nexon conducted another public beta test of their new game, Counter Strike 2 Online. It was all over in Asia, and players who tested the new CS received money and free food for it. Also among the test participants were awarded valuable prizes. This is the second such beta test, and this means that the release of the second part of Counter Strike 2 Online is just around the corner.
Closing a game
On February 28, 2018, the Japanese localization of Counter Strike Online 2 closed. On April 26, 2018, Korean localization closed. On May 2 and 18, 2018, Chinese and Taiwanese localizations closed.
