Three-sided onion ( Latin Allium triquetrum ) - a species of perennial herbaceous plants of the genus Onion ( Allium ) of the Amaryllidaceae family .

Botanical Description
Perennial herbaceous plant. The stalk is trihedral, 10-40 cm tall. Leaves 2-3, they are linear, with keeled protrusions, up to 17 mm wide and 15 cm long, collected at the base of the plant [2] . Flowers 1–1.3 cm long, white, with a bright green stripe [3] , collected in a bundled umbrella [4] of 4-19 flowers. Flowering from December (or January) to May (in places of natural habitat) [2] .
Habitat and habitat
It grows in southwestern Europe , northwestern Africa , the islands of Madeira and the Canary Islands , where it is found in meadows, clearings, river banks and roadsides at an altitude of 850 m above sea level [2] . The species was also introduced in the British Isles , Turkey , Australia , North and South America [2] .
Economic Significance and Application
It can be used as an ornamental plant [4] .
