Biography

Club career

Michal went through all the steps of the youth system of the team from his hometown, but entered into a contract with the club of the second Slovak division “Sport” (Podbrezova) . Only half a season later, one of the most titled clubs in the country, Slovan , drew attention to the player, where Breznanik went in January 2007.

In the second leg of the playoff round of the Europa League 2010/11 against Stuttgart with a score of 2: 0 Michal received a red card. The meeting ended in a draw 2: 2. The management accused the player that the club did not get into the group stage of the tournament and put him on a transfer. At the same transfer window, Michal moved to the club of the same name from the Czech Republic .

The next season 2011/12 Michal, like the whole team, spent at a high level, scored 12 goals, made his debut in the national team and became the champion of the country.

On the last day of the transfer window in Russia, Michal Breznanik signed a three-year contract with Amkar [2] . As Michal himself said, he chose between the Perm club and the Kiev Arsenal . Michal’s new teammate and teammate Martin Yakubko said “Breznanik is a very good acquisition. In the election of the best legionnaire of the Czech Premier League, he was in second place last season. This is a fast, initiative football player who will help our team ” [3] .

He made his debut for the main squad on September 22 in an away match against Dynamo . Michal came out in the 42nd minute instead of Alexander Kolomeytsev and took the position of the left defender. Having played a generally unsuccessful match in a non-native position, Michal at the end of the game, quickly playing a free kick with Pavel Ignatovich , scored a goal into an almost empty net.

In April 2014 he became a player in Prague 's Sparta . [4] He spent the end of the 2014/15 season on loan at the Slovan Liberec [5] , for which he spent 9 matches and scored one goal.

Team Career

Michal made his debut for the Slovak national team on February 29, 2012 in a friendly match against Turkey .
