Stashino

Stashino ( Belorussian. Stashyna ) is a village within the Buinichsky village council of the Mogilev region of the Mogilev region of the Republic of Belarus .

It is located 10 kilometers west of Mogilev and 7.5 kilometers from the Tishovka platform of the Mogilev - Osipovichi railway. Along the eastern side of the village flows the Lahva River (a tributary of the Dnieper ).

The village has been known since the mid- 19th century . In 1847, the village of Stashin (it is also Peschanoe ( Belorussian. Pyaschanay, Pyasechna )) was the center of the estate, the property of the landowner, who owned 1847 tithes of land, a mill and a tavern in 1874 . According to the census of 1897, the village consisted of 17 courtyards and 147 inhabitants. Nearby was the farm Stashin (aka Mosyanki ( Belorussian. Masyankі )), where there was 1 yard and 14 inhabitants. In 1909, the village has 22 yards and 169 inhabitants. In 1909, a school was opened, in which 41 pupils studied in 1925 and a drama group operated. In 1926, the village had 43 yards and 222 inhabitants. In 1930, the Krasny Stashin collective farm was organized, which in 1933 brought together 14 farms. In 1940, there were 50 yards and 251 inhabitants in the village. During the Great Patriotic War from July 1941 to June 27, 1944 it was occupied by German troops. In April 1944, burned by the Germans, 9 residents were killed. After the war, rebuilt. In 1990, Stashino consisted of 33 households and 67 residents, the village belonged to the Mayak of Communism collective farm (the center in the village of Tishovka ), and a pig-breeding farm was located here [1] .
