History

Population and Culture History

In 1805 - 1817, St. Andrew's Cathedral was built (on the site of the current St. Andrew's Garden). Here served the holy righteous John of Kronstadt .

In 1819 - 1822 the Anglican Church was built (then the Holy Cross Exaltation Church ).

In 1931 the Holy Cross Exaltation Church was closed [3] .

In 1932, St. Andrew's Cathedral was blown up [4] [5] .

At the beginning of May 2012, the Maritime Museum opened at No. 5 on Andreevskaya Street, the exposition of which is dedicated to the history of diving in Russia.

In the reference book of 1916, the street is listed as Andreevskaya street .

The 1923 Stolpiansky guidebook is listed as Volodarsky Street [6] .
