Mehdiev, Vugar Namized oglu

Vugar Namized oglu Mehdiyev ( azerb. Vüqar Namizəd oğlu Mehdiyev ) is an Azerbaijani track and field athlete , a Paralympic competitor in the category of disability T13 . The bronze medalist of the 2008 Summer Paralympic Games in the 200m race. At these games he also performed in the 100m race, taking 4th place. In 2016, in accordance with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan, Vyugar Mehdiyev was awarded the “Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan” [1] for his merits in the development of the Paralympic movement in Azerbaijan.
