It is part of the Dvynitsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - the Dvynitsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Sokol is 40 km, to the center of the municipality of Chekshin - 2 km. The nearest settlements are Shadrino , Okulovskoye , Novy , Gorka , Chekshino , Mishutkino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 3 people [2] .
