The city of Kadnikov is part of the urban settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - into the Kadnikovsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Sokol is 13 km, to the center of the municipality of Kadnikov is 1 km. The nearest settlements are Kadnikov , Erdenovo , Filyaevo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 377 people (229 men, 148 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (97%) [2] .
