The city of Kadnikov is part of the urban settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - into the Kadnikovsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Sokol is 27 km, to the center of the municipality of Kadnikov is 15 km. The nearest settlements are Morzhenga , Tsibovo , Pirogovo .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
