The city of Kadnikov is part of the urban settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - into the Kadnikovsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Sokol is 18 km, to the center of the municipality of Kadnikov is 6 km. The nearest settlements are Sloboda , Sosnovaya Roscha , Erdenovo .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
