In 1989 she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences on the topic "Classification and Genealogy of Solanum tuberosum L.". Conducted a comprehensive study of the genetic diversity of the cultural tetraploid species of potato Solanum tuberosum L.
