The Sayan territorial-production complex ( Sayan TPK ) is one of the territorial-production complexes of the Angara-Yenisei region, located on the territory of the Khakass Autonomous Region and the city of Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory . The decision to create the Sayan TPK was made in 1971 at the XXIV Congress of the CPSU. The main nodes of the Sayan TPK are Abakan, Chernogorsk, Sayanogorsk, Askiz, Altai, Ust-Abakan and Shirinsky areas. The Sayan TPK also included seven districts of the Yenisei Right Bank: Ermakovsky, Idrinsky, Karatuzsky, Krasnoturansky, Kuraginsky, Minusinsky, Shushensky and the city of Minusinsk.
The Abakan carriage building complex, the Sayan Aluminum Plant, the Minusinsk non-standard equipment plant, the high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker plant, the Abakan panel house-building plant, the Montenegrin and Izykh sections, the Abakan, Teysky, Krasnokamensky and Irbinsky iron mines, the Sorsky molybdenum were built and commissioned for processing non-ferrous metals, the Sayanmramor plant, the Sayan plant of collapsible structures, the Montenegrin worsted-cloth ombinat, primary processing factory wool Abakanskiy pig and others.

More than 150 mineral deposits, including coal (with reserves of over 30 billion tons), oil, gas, iron ore, non-ferrous metals (molybdenum, gold, copper, lead, tungsten, silver), asbestos, gypsum, emery, barite, mirabilite, salt, diamonds, marble, granite, jadeite, deposits of building materials (sand, clay, gravel); water resources - pp. Yenisei, Abakan and their tributaries, and more than 500 small rivers; healing lakes, biological resources and so on.
