The X-E1 model uses interchangeable lenses with a X-mount and an APS-C format CMOS array of its own design (X-Trans technology) with a crop factor of 1.5. The main feature of the matrix, made by X-trans technology is the absence of an anti-muar filter (degrading the resolution), due to the non-Bayer structure of the array of color filters . [one]
X-E1 was announced on September 6, 2012, along with the camera, two new X -mount lenses were introduced : the first zoom lens in the XF18-55mm system ( equivalent focal length - 27–84 mm, aperture ratio - 1: 2.8–4), as well as a wide-angle lens XF14mm (EGF - 21 mm, aperture ratio - 1: 2.8).
The camera went on sale in November 2012, the declared cost in the US version without a lens - $ 1000, with the lens XF18mm-55mm - $ 1,400. The cost of XF18mm-55mm - 700 dollars.
In the fall of 2013, the Fujifilm X-E2 camera went on sale, retaining the former case, but equipped with a CMOS matrix of the new generation and hybrid autofocus .
