Biography

Aisulu Tokombaeva was born on September 22, 1947 in Frunze (now Bishkek , Kyrgyzstan ).

She graduated from the Leningrad Choreographic School. A. Vaganova (now the Academy of Russian Ballet named after A. Ya. Vaganova ) according to the class of N.V. Belikova ( 1958 - 1966 ).

Since 1966 - in the ballet troupe of the Kyrgyz Opera and Ballet Theater. A. Maldybaeva , since 1967 - soloist. The stage partner was People's Artist of the USSR Cholponbek Bazarbaev .

She took part in the production of the ballet Swan Lake by P. Tchaikovsky , Spartak A. Khachaturian and others [1] .

She toured the cities of the USSR and abroad: Poland , Bulgaria , Finland , Libya , Tunisia , Sweden , Italy , Yugoslavia , Hungary , Denmark , Switzerland .

Member of the CPSU since 1973 .

Since 1995, she has been teaching in Turkey , where she teaches choreography at the Conservatory of the University of Hajettepe ( Ankara ) [2] .

In June 2012, the First International Competition of Choreographic Educational Institutions “Ak-Kuu-2012” was held in Bishkek, where Aisulu Tokombaeva was the chairman of the jury.
