General Information
The Ethnographic Museum of Zagreb is located in a historic building-monument of architecture in the Art Nouveau style and is located at: pl. Mažuranića / Trg Mažuranića, 14, Zagreb-10000 (Croatia).
The museum building is a former urban craft house.
Working hours of the museum institution [1] :
- on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - from 10.00 to 17.00;
- on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - from 10.00 to 13.00;
- on Mondays closed.

From the history and exposure
The Museum of Ethnography in Zagreb was founded in 1919 on the initiative of Salamon Berger, a textile merchant and industrialist from Slovakia . He was one of the first to provide the institution with a very large collection of national costumes and fabrics.
Currently, the collection of the Zagreb Ethnographic Museum has about 80,000 items. In the museum collections there is mainly the ethnographic heritage of the Croatian people, presented in two main themes - Croatian folk costumes and certain items of folk art and handicrafts, as well as the main branches of the national economy and crafts.

- collection of folk costumes of the Pannonia region;
- collection of traditional jewelry;
