The new Wembley Stadium has not yet been opened after reconstruction, so the Cup final was held on May 21, 2005 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff . The main and extra time of the final match between the Arsenal and Manchester United clubs ended in a goalless draw, and for the first time in the history of the FA Cup, the fate of the final match was decided in the penalty shootout, where the Londoners were stronger than the opponent.

Final
In the 2005 FA Cup final, Manchester United and Arsenal met. The match was held at the Millennium Stadium ( Cardiff ). Manchester United players during the game looked more confident than their rivals, but could not score either in the main or in extra time. For the first time in the history of the FA Cup, the fate of the trophy was decided in a series of penalty shoot-outs.
