cdrtfe

cdrtfe is a computer program for working with optical disc file systems . It is a graphical interface for console programs cdrtools (utilities: cdrecord, mkisofs, readcd, cdda2wav), Mode2 CD Maker, VCDImager [2] and others.

This is free software distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL license and written in the Pascal programming language. The program is designed to work in the Windows operating system . There is an installation and version of the program without installing it into the operating system (portable).

Functions

Types of disc content
  • Burn data discs with or without the creation of an ISO image .
  • Audio CDs
    • Record from audio file formats : WAV , MP3 , FLAC , OGG .
    • Copy audio tracks with saving to WAV, MP3, FLAC or OGG.
    • Align the volume of tracks in a recordable Audio CD using Replay Gain technology.
  • Video CD recording: Video CD (VCD), Super Video CD (SVCD) (using VCDImager program), DVD (from the original VIDEO_TS folder).
Disk images
  • Create a copy of the disk with the preservation in the ISO-image , burn the ISO-image and the image in the format of BIN / CUE to disk.
  • Creating an ISO image from arbitrary folders and files.
Special recording modes
  • Data recording, the volume of which exceeds the nominal capacity of the disk (the so-called "overbarbing") - is possible due to the remaining free space on the disk.
  • Creating XCD (eXtended-CD) [3] [4] discs, a special recording mode of which allows you to fit approximately 13% more data, compared to a normal recording (795 MB instead of 700 MB).
