The river originates on the Krasnogorsk Upland , in the Falensky district of the Kirov region, 10 km east of the village of Belaya . It flows to the north and northeast, and soon after its source it enters the territory of Udmurtia. The width reaches 12 m in the lower reaches, the depth is 50 cm. It has several small tributaries, for example, Yurka and Tympalka (both are left). On the river there are villages and villages of Nikolskoye, Yur, Tympal , Tupalud (all - the Municipal Formation "Ukanskoye" ). It flows into Lekma, 5 km northwest of the village of Ukan .
