Biography
He graduated from the Naval Cadet Corps in 1910; Lieutenant, commander of the Chibis patrol ship under construction of the Baltic Fleet. Then he graduated from the Officer School of Aviation (1913) and the Navigation Officer Class (1914).
During the First World War, he participated in hostilities on the battleship Glory (1914-1915) and on the destroyer Thunder (1915-1917). In the battle of Moonsund, he refused to leave the dying Thunder and was taken from the destroyer by force. He made his way to the South of Russia in the Volunteer Army.
He fought in the Volunteer Army from January 1, 1918 - in the Sea Company . He was seriously wounded in one of the first battles of the Volunteer Army and in February 1918 he was treated in the Novocherkassk hospital.
From June 1918 he was the commander of the Kubanets steamship of the Don Flotilla , from January 24, 1919 he was a senior lieutenant, in early 1919 he was a senior officer of the Polesny icebreaker, in June 1919 he was the commander of the boat division of the Volga Flotilla , and from September 20, 1919 he was the commander of the auxiliary cruiser "America" of the Caspian flotilla.
In May 1921 he served in a camp in Basra ( Mesopotamia ), then on the Caspian Flotilla. Since September 1921 - Chief of Staff of the Siberian Flotilla ; minesweeper commander “Fuse” on the campaign from Genzan to Shanghai and from Shanghai to Olongapo ( Philippines ), where he remained on ships.
Captain 2nd rank (March 28, 1920).
After the war he was in exile in China (1936 - June 18, 1946). Member of the wardroom in Shanghai (in 1939 a member of the Committee of Elders), was in Shanghai in 1948, then - in Australia, where he was chairman of the local Wardroom.
He died on November 25, 1973 in Sydney ( Australia ).
