Biography
- Born on June 15, 1890 in Yekaterinoslav [2] [3] , (according to other sources in St. Petersburg ). [four]
- In 1908, after graduating from high school, he entered the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of St. Petersburg University , but a year later he moved to the Marine Engineering School.
- In 1913 he graduated from the Marine Engineering School in Kronstadt and was sent to the Admiralty Plant as a corps engineer. In the same year, from ship midshipmen- shipbuilders, he was promoted to second lieutenant . He was appointed assistant chief builder V. I. Nevrazhin of the battle cruisers Borodino , Navarin , and then the battleships Poltava and Gangut .

- In 1915-1916 he led installations on ships of large-caliber guns.
- In 1917, he was sent by the Admiralty Shipyard in Murmansk to work on the reconstruction of cruisers at the Northern Shipyard.

- He worked in the shipbuilding industry, took part in the completion and re-equipment of the battleship "Gangut" (later - "October Revolution"). From 1925 to 1930 he worked as the head of the design bureau and the head of workshop No. 17 of the Marty shipyard , built on the projects of A.N. Tupolev torpedo boats . From 1930 to 1932 he was the chief engineer of the Petrozavod plant.
- Since 1931 - the first Chairman of the Leningrad Jet Propulsion Study Group .
- In 1932, the LenGIRD included more than 400 members. The employees of the Gas-dynamic laboratory V. A. Artemyev , B. S. Petropavlovsky and others provided great help in organizing the LenGIRD and its work. The LenGIRD actively promoted rocketry, organized demonstration launches of small powder rockets, and developed a number of original projects of experimental rockets (photo rocket, meteorological rocket, etc.), in particular, the Razumov-Stern rocket with a rotary LRE. In 1932 LenGIRD created courses on the theory of jet propulsion.
- In 1933, he was appointed the head of the design bureau for the construction of an all-metal airship K.E. Tsiolkovsky (Moscow).
- Was repressed. Arrested on December 9, 1933 and sentenced to capital punishment with 10 years in prison During the Great Patriotic War, he worked in the camp "sharashka" - Special Technical Bureau under the NKVD . He was released on May 24, 1947 and exiled to the Komi Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic for 5 years as an ESR ( Socially Dangerous Element ). Memory
- In 1976, a crater on the Moon with a diameter of 75.1 km was named after Razumov [6] .
- A memorial plaque in honor of VV Razumov was erected in the building of the Main Admiralty in St. Petersburg, on which it says: βA school graduate, a prominent engineer VV Razumov, a representative of the LenGIRD, one of the creators of the first Soviet missiles, worked here. 1890-1967 ". [7]
