Traffic

indicate the direction of movement by a clear supply of the established control signals;

demand that the chiefs of the convoys and the entire personnel (drivers) comply with the traffic rules and observe light camouflage and exemplary discipline of the march ; if drivers violate the rules of the road, delay the following vehicles individually, record their license plate number ( board number ), requiring violators to name the part and surname, first name, patronymic, military rank , position and report to the head of the traffic control post about violations;

not to allow stops and congestion of columns (cars) in the area of traffic .

In dangerous places for movement:

not allow overtaking of columns (cars) and speeding;
monitor the visibility of fences and warning road signs.

On the approaches to the part of the path fired by the enemy:

warn about the danger of further movement along the VAD (column roads);
not to allow delays of columns (cars) on the road, as well as to demand compliance with the established traffic order in this section.

At the passage through nuclear mines ( YaMZ ) and other obstacles and contaminated areas:

warn personnel about the presence of barriers, contaminated sites on the route of movement and the order of movement along the aisles;
prevent the columns (cars) from stopping in the aisles;
monitor compliance by drivers with the set speed and driving distance;
the presence and visibility of road signs and signs.

At the railway crossing:

with the approach of the train, block traffic on the road 5 meters from the barrier , but no closer than 10 meters from the nearest rail ;

In the area of arsenals , warehouses and bases :

send columns (cars) along the established route;
prevent the accumulation of columns (cars) on the road in anticipation of loading (unloading);

The traffic controller has the right:

attract passing cars to evacuate damaged and faulty vehicles from the roadway to the side of the road;
make notes in the travel documents of drivers who have violated the rules of the road, in case they do not comply with the requirements of officials of the road-curfew service, violations of the rules of the road, drunk driving, an accident caused by the driver, in the absence or incorrect execution of travel documents;
in case of violation of traffic rules by drivers, detain the following vehicles individually, write down their license plate number (board number), requiring violators to give their part and surname, first name, patronymic, military rank, position and report to the chief of the traffic control post about violations.

At the taxiway post, the traffic controller must be in the prescribed uniform ^[12] ^[13] : jacket with sleeve insignia (bandage) and trousers of a special sample (traffic controller), special equipment (waist and shoulder belts, white with a light-reflecting strip), gaiters , light reflectors (chest, back), whistle , electrified wand (flags (red and yellow), and at night a lantern with red glass), personal weapons and personal protective equipment ( steel helmet , special paint, armored vest, and so on). The routing of the route consists in setting up movable and fixed control posts (mainly at intersections and at large crossings), in identifying conductors or column-guided workers, in arranging signposts (dumb regulation). All OOD forces and means are usually divided into three groups: the first - to the first section, the second - to the second section, the third - reserve.
By the beginning of the movement of the column, the first section should already be completed.
After (the rear camp outpost , the author is shortened) the TPZ of the column will pass this section, the posts in this section will be removed and the entire group will be thrown forward to the next section or make up a reserve if the latter has already been used.
Traffic control posts are required to: prevent lateral movement at the time of passage of their columns; take immediate measures to free the way from random wagons and cars; set the order of passage of cars; demand compliance with march discipline and disguise.
