He is a citizen of Belgium and Switzerland. He studied acting at the Moscow Art Theater. The teachers of Louis were Oleg Tabakov, Alla Pokrovskaya and Roman Kozak. Oleg Tabakov called Frank “The Black Swan” when he saw Louis as King Charles VII directed by Anouilh's L'Alouette.

He studied directing Pittsburgh Carnegie Mellon.

Arriving in Russia for the first time in 1995, he met Dina Korzun at the Moscow Art Theater (the main role in the film "The Country of the Deaf"). The actress at that time was married and had a young son Timur. Louis left for Canada, worked as a copywriter at the Cossette advertising agency, where he composed advertisements for radio, TV and print products for such clients as General Motors, McDonalds, Coca-Cola, BellCanada, Museum of Montreal and others.

For three years in Montreal, Louis plays in the theater, and also puts on performances. Having created the Ensemble Sauvage Public troupe there with friends, he also writes music for their plays. Then in 1998, Louis went to Russia to celebrate the New Year. They agree with Dina to meet in Yugoslavia, where Louis makes the short film "Picture".

Louis and Dina have an impromptu wedding, where a Yugoslav actor and director Philip Gajic acts as a priest and at the same time as a witness. Lovers swear to each other in eternal love on the immortal play "Romeo and Juliet."

2000

In 2001, the official wedding of Louis and Dina in Geneva takes place (but they prefer to consider the first wedding to be real).

Louis moves to his wife in Moscow, where he works as a fashion photographer for the Russian fashion company Lollipop.

In 2002, during a tour of the Ukrainian group “Ocean of Elzy”, Louis made a video for them for the song “Friend” and became closely acquainted with two members of the group - Yura Khustochka and Dima Shurov. Louis invites Dima and Jura to participate in writing music for his feature film “Martha”. In the process of rehearsing, they together create 7 songs in 3 days and, realizing that they have a strong musical and personal connection, they decide to establish their own group. Yuri and Dmitry throw the band “Ocean Elzy” at the peak of popularity.

In 2004, the musicians created the group "Esthetic Education", which is considered "Ukrainian with an international composition." Khustochka plays the bass, Shurov plays the keys, and Frank becomes the vocalist.

The main location of the group is considered to be Kiev, and Louis rents an apartment there, living in three cities: Kiev-London-Moscow. In the same year, Louis made the film "Martha", where Frank acts as a screenwriter and producer, and his wife Dina Korzun plays the main role.

In December, Esthetic Education released their debut album Face Reading.

A year after its founding, Esthetic Education is already supporting the Moby, followed by My Chemical Romance, Placebo and Zemfira.

The group regularly performed in Ukraine and Russia, also played programs at the European festivals Exit, Ziget, Les Bars en Trans and others.

During the existence of the group, Louis Frank managed to educate his audience of intelligent, advanced youth. Ex-members of the most popular Ukrainian rock band “Ocean Elzy” played in the group together with Louis: Yuriy Khustochka and Dmitry Shurov, who at the peak of popularity left the band “Ocean” to create a new project with Louis. The concert activity and popularity of the group quickly gained momentum, EE became key trendsetters in the context of a new approach to the show: the group occupied a niche of pioneers and opened up many new formats not previously presented in Ukraine.

In 2007, the group performed at the then unknown abandoned location "Green Theater" with its theatrical production of the presentation of the album; Now this place is one of the most popular underground locations in Kiev.

In December 2007, EE presented the Antenna project, the first large-scale film concert in Ukraine held at the Mystetskyi Arsenal, an abandoned gallery, which later also became the center of cultural events in Kiev. As part of the project, the group created a special musical accompaniment for the innovative silent film “Antenna” (Argentina), consisting of the group’s tracks and specially written compositions. The musical part was synchronized with the video sequence per second and was performed at the concert using special time-code monitors.

Next is the ARTEFACT tour, a technically sophisticated audio-visual project, where the musicians performed half of the concert behind the screen, on which a unique video for each track was projected, combined with live broadcast from the stage. There was a special sensor on Louis Franck's suit that responded to his movements, so the visual part on the screen followed the real actions on the stage. The project involved more than 20 artists from various fields of visual art. Vijing also used drawings by fans from all over the country, which they brought to the concert, scanned right before the show. The ARTEFACT show gathered in Kiev more than 4,000 people.

EE organized their Moloko Music Fest, an indie music festival, featuring Adam Green, Alina Orlova and others. The group also released the magazine of the same name "Milk", a cult youth music publication, and hosted its own Esthetic Club radio show at Radio One Station.

In 2011, the group ceased operations indefinitely. The last concert was a performance with the Antenna program at the Odessa International Film Festival.

2013

In 2013, Louis Frank returns with a new project - ATLANTIDA .

ATLANTIDA is an artistic phenomenon that combines not only music, but also cinema, literature, theater and other art movements. The idea of the ATLANTIDA phenomenon is to find a better space, open a new world within ourselves and prove it is good where we are.

The first part of ATLANTIDA - a Russian-language music album - homage to the aesthetics of nostalgia for the Soviet Era. Working on the album, Louis was inspired by the music of the Soviet era - from Alexander Vertinsky to Alla Pugacheva, from Anna German to the group Kino and Zhanna Aguzarova.

The second part of the album will be more modern and electronic in sound.

ATLANTIDA is the first post-Soviet album recorded by a foreign artist in Russian. He absorbed various musical decades: from Soviet musical styles (starting from the 1940s) to ultra-modern electronics.

The premiere of the first single of the ATLANTIDA project - “Lilac Dreams” - took place in February 2013. The musician presented the song remix in March at the opening party of the International Mercedes Benz Kiev Fashion Days , where Louis acted as a DJ. Then two more singles were presented - “Crossroads” and “Everything is Possible”.
