Berezhnogo Street - a street in the city of Novomoskovsk, Tula region . Located in the central part of the city. Named in honor of the Hero of Socialist Labor A.D. Berezhnoy , director of the mechanical-repair plant of the Novomoskovsk chemical plant, one of the first builders of the Bobrikovsky (Stalinogorsk) chemical plant .

History and location
Pochtovaya Street appeared on a map of the city according to the original general plan of development in the 1930s. In the west, the street starts from a children's park with a children's railway . From west to east, the streets are crossed by Berezovaya, Labor Reserves and Oktyabrskaya streets. To the right adjoins Prisyagin Street. In the east, the street rests on Moskovskaya Street .
In the 1930s, a water supply system was built along with the first houses. At the beginning of the street was the building of the production department of the water supply and sewage system, and at the end - the post office [1] .
In 1969, by decision of the City Executive Committee, in order to perpetuate the memory of A. D. Berezhnoy , Pochtovaya Street was renamed to Berezhny Street [1] .
