It is part of the Zhitievsky rural settlement , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Seven-city village council.
The distance to the center of Zhityev Municipality in a straight line is 16 km. The nearest settlements are Porubezhie , Babin .
The village arose in the middle of the 20th century on the Seven - city narrow gauge railway [1] . Although it is located on the territory of the Syamzhensky district , for a long time it, like all other logging villages in the UZhD, belonged to the Seven-city village council of the Kharovsky district . Since January 1, 2006, the village became part of the Zhityevsky rural settlement of the Syamzhensky district [2] , from the point of view of the ATD, it continues to be part of the Seven-city village council.
According to the 2002 census, the population is 19 people [3] .
