Croatian Democratic Union of Slavonia and Baranji, HDSSB ( Croatian Hrvatski demokratski savez Slavonije i Baranje, HDSSB ) [1] is a right-wing political party in the Croatian regions of Slavonia and Baranya . The official colors of the party are red and gold.

Officially founded on May 6, 2006 [2] , but originates a year earlier, when a group of local politicians from the Croatian Democratic Union , headed by Branimir Hlaváš, began a political organization with a very similar name - the Croatian Democratic Assembly of Slavonia and Baranji ( Croatian Hrvatski demokratski sabor Slavonije i Baranje ) on the eve of the local elections in May 2005. The stated purpose of the new grouping is the regional reorganization of Croatia with the aim of improving the situation in Slavonia, which, according to Glavsch and his supporters, is the central ruler Launch in Zagreb launched.
The central leadership of the CDU, led by Ivo Sanader, condemned this platform and expelled Glavash from the party. However, most of the local CDU organizations followed the Leader and his independent electoral list, which won a relative majority in the county council ( Horv. Županijska skupština ) Osijek-ram and the city council ( Horv. Gradsko vijeće ) Osijek . This non-partisan group on May 6, 2006 became the Croatian Democratic Alliance of Slavonia and Baranja. In 2008, the Slavonian-Baran Croatian Party, founded in the early 1990s , the former ally of the Social Democratic Party of Croatia , joined its structure.
In the 2007 Croatian parliamentary elections, the party received 44,552 votes, or 1.8% of voters, and won 3 seats in the Croatian parliament . At the next elections in 2011, the CSDP improved its position in the Croatian parliament, gaining 6 seats.
