Eschscholzia ramosa is found on the island of Guadalupe in the Mexican state of Baja California , as well as on the Channel Islands ( California , USA ). It grows in chaparral .
Annual plant, grows in clusters, leaves are segmented, with divided rounded shares. The stem grows to 30 cm, the flower - with yellow petals, often with orange bases, about 2.5 cm. The fruit is a capsule 4-7 cm with small brown seeds.
