José Ignacio Pavón ( Spanish: José Ignacio Pavón ; 1791 , Veracruz - May 24, 1866 , Mexico City ) - Mexican lawyer, lawyer and politician. From August 13, 1860 to August 15, 1860 he served as President of Mexico .

Biography
Pavon was born in Veracruz, where he began his studies, which he continued at the College of San Ildefonso in Mexico City, where he studied philosophy and law. Since 1823 he served in the Ministry of Finance. He took part in the Texas War of Independence. In 1841 he became a member of the Mexican Supreme Court.
In 1860, he was acting chairman of the Supreme Court and acting president for two days (August 13-15, 1860). After that, he returned to work in the Supreme Court.
