Career
She began her film career in 1938 .
In 1952, she starred in the cult American television series I Love Lucy in the Young Fans series (season 1, episode 20), playing the role of Peggy Dawson, a young admirer of Ricky Ricardo who tried to recapture him from Lucy.
Personal life
In 1948-1994, Janet was married to a playwright and lyric poet Robert Edwin Lee (1918-1994), who left her a widow. Married to Lee Waldo gave birth to a son and daughter.
