Kubais [1] [2] [3] ( Arabic: كبيسة ) is a small city in the west of Iraq , located on the territory of Anbar governorate. It is part of Heath County.

Geographical position
The city is located in the north-eastern part of the governorate, on the territory of the oasis of the same name, at an altitude of 131 meters above sea level [2] .
Kubaisa is located approximately 62 kilometers west-northwest (WNW) from Ramadi , the provincial capital, and 155 kilometers west-northwest of Baghdad , the country's capital.
Population
In 2012, the population of the city was 9,879 people [3] [4] .
Economics
One of the largest cement plants in Iraq is located in Kubais.
