Life and career
Wendy Moniz was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to a Portuguese emigrant family [1] . After graduating from college in New York in 1991, in 1995, she debuted in the daytime soap opera "The Guiding Light ", and starred in it for the next few years. In 1999, she left the show to start a career in prime time and starred in several short-lived TV shows, and in 2000-2001 she played a permanent role in the TV series “ Detective Nash Bridges ” [1] .
Wendy Moniz is best known for her role as Louise Archer in the television series Defender , where she starred from 2001 to 2004. She also had minor roles in the series “Men in the big city” and “ Fight ”. In 2012, she received a minor role in the television series Park Avenue, 666 [2] . In early 2013, she received one of the central roles in the ABC series “ Treason ” [3] .
Since October 28, 2000, Moniz is married to actor Frank Grillo, and they have two children: Liam Kiki Grillo (born June 13, 2004) and Rio Joseph Grillo (born January 25, 2008) [4] .
