The 33rd Golden Globe Award Cinematography and Television Awards Ceremony for 1975 [1] took place on January 24, 1976 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel [2] , Los Angeles , California , USA [3] .
The main triumph of the evening was Milos Forman ’s drama “ One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, ” which won six statuettes, including for the best dramatic film of the year, best male ( Jack Nicholson ) and female roles ( Louise Fletcher ) in the drama. At the Oscars , the picture repeated its success, winning the nomination " Best Film of the Year ."
The best comedy film was recognized by Herbert Ross ’s tape “ Solar Boys " [4] , which also won in the categories of " Best Actor (comedy or musical) " ( George Burns and Walter Mattau ) and " Best Actor in a Supporting Role " ( Richard Benjamin ).
The best foreign language film is the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association called " My father told me a lie » Canadian production [5] .
The Cecil B. De Mill special prize for life achievements was not awarded this year [6] .
