Baby Mu ( Swede. Lilla My ) is the heroine of a series of Moomin trolls written by Finnish writer Tove Jansson . She first appears in the fourth book, Memoirs of Moomin Dad (1950). Baby Mu - the smallest, purposeful and completely independent mum . If she wants something, she does it right there. She is straightforward, disobedient, absolutely selfish, knows everything, but is not interested in other people's affairs. May be a good friend if he wants.

Baby Mu is the sister of the daughter of Mumla and the half sister of Snusmumrik , and also has a large number of other brothers and sisters. She was adopted by the family of the Moomin trolls and lived with them first in the Moomin Valley , later on the island with the lighthouse, and again in the Moomin Valley.
Baby Mu appears for the first time in the seventh chapter of the book “Memoirs of Moomin Papa”. She is also present in books such as Dangerous Summer , Magic Winter and Moomin Dad and the Sea; in the stories "The story of the last in the world of a dragon", " Invisible Child ", "Christmas Tree".
