History
It was formed by the decision of the Holy Synod of June 7, 2012 (magazine No. 51) [1] by separation from the Stavropol diocese .
Included in the Stavropol Metropolis .
The ruling bishop, the Synod decided to have the title of St. George and Praskoveysky.
On October 4, 2012, the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church decided to be Bishop of St. George and Praskoveys, Father Superior Gideon (Sponge) [2] . Since December 13, 2012, the diocese has been ruled by Bishop Gideon.
