Gyyba

Gyybat, gyba, gaybat ( Arabic. غِيبَةٌ - blasphemy, slander ) - an eye- opening condemnation, gossip against a person, the desire to find out personal secrets of a person to make them public. Gyybat - “talk about a third person in his absence, bad and offensive things, condemn for the eyes, groan.” This word is of the same root with the word "huck - unknown, hidden." In the Qur'an and the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad, the concept of Gyibat is often compared to eating the meat of a dead person ^[1] .

O those who believed! Avoid many assumptions, for some assumptions are sin. Do not follow each other and do not slander behind each other. Any talk about an absent person that he wouldn’t like, even if it’s true ^{[2] [3],} is also considered a guybat. The Islamic religion prohibits these acts and considers them one of the most godly. Gaybat is one of the greatest sins in Islam.

Gyybat is allowed only in the following cases:

1. When testifying in court;
2. If a person suffers from the injustice of some despot;
3. If a person is condemned who, quite openly, not embarrassed by society, commits sinful acts. ^[four]
