History

Until December 29, 1998, the farm was part of the Shpakovsky village council .

On December 29, 1998, the Law of the Stavropol Territory “Abolished the Shpakovsky Village Council of the Shpakovsky District in connection with the transformation of the village center into a city of district subordination - the city of Mikhailovsk . Rural settlements - farms: Balki , Kozhevnikov, Podgorny , which were part of the Shpakovsky village council, were transferred to the administrative subordination of the city of Mikhailovsk without changing their status ” ^[3] .
