Physical Properties

Niobium hydride forms gray crystals of cubic syngony , cell parameters a = 0.3423–0.3427 nm.

Depending on the production method, the product has significant deviations from the stoichiometric composition.

Chemical Properties

  • Oxidized by heating in air:

  • It decomposes on heating under vacuum :
